I first joined CMLA because I wanted more opportunities to volunteer in community healthcare and to interact with people of various backgrounds in the LA community. However, CMLA has provided me with so much more than just volunteer opportunities. I have come to love how its environment is always supportive and helps me achieve my goals! In the future, I hope to attend medical school and become a physician!

I joined CMLA as a freshman who wanted more information and a community as a pre-med student. I was drawn to this club’s mission to welcome and offer guidance to anyone who needs it. Amidst all the pre-health competitiveness, this club is like a friendly reminder that at the end of the day, we’re entering this field in order to help people. 🙂 That being said, I plan on applying to medical school and becoming a physician in the future. I look forward to working towards this goal with all of you!
